Around the World on Wednesday - The Market / All About Texture

Thanks so Much for stopping by!

For those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball, I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada.  Welcome to
Stampin' with the Bees.

Thanks so much to Angie McKenzie for inviting me to participate in the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop!!  I was so excited to be asked!!

Today's Theme is The Market / All About Texture

Texture is not always about crumpling paper or embossing.  One of my Favourite ways to add texture is by layering.

Here in Canada today is Remembrance Day.  A day of Gratitude towards out military and our Veterans for their sacrifices in the past and today for our freedom.

So it only seems right to use the Gorgeous Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments Stamps and matching dies.  The Poppy Moments dies in particular added so much texture with all the layering you can do.  My card has been done in Real Red as I think it is closest to the poppies we can buy everywhere right now.  I also used the Sheer Real Red Ribbon and the Wonderful Gems for a little sparkle and even more texture!

Here is my card!! Hope you Love it!!

The dsp is Magic in the Night (Halloween)
The Leaves are Garden Green and
I used Wink of Stella on the flower centers

During my Friday Night Live last week I made these other Poppy cards I thought I would also share.

I hope you enjoyed my cards as much as I enjoyed making them!! Everything used is available at my online store if you live in Canada, just click on the Canada Flag on your right.

Please keep hopping to see every one else's beautiful creations!!
