Kylie 's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop August 2019

Thanks So Much for stopping by!

For those who are stopping for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

Welcome to our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop!  I am so thrilled to be a part of Kylie's Demonstrator Training Group.   I am Excited to share my card with you today.

As I work on some swaps that have a looming deadline I realized I hadn't shared some that I made in the past.  I used the Floral Essence Bundle.  So easy when the bundle comes with a punch!!

Step 1 Stamp wit Blackberry Bliss, Sponge Dauber with Blushing Bride and punch out a whole bunch!! Each flower is 3 punched pieces.  I layered then with Tombow liquid Glue and arranged them in a box then sprayed them with Frost Shimmer Paint.

I Punched out a ton of leaves from one piece of the Old Olive Vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock...I hope this stays around for a long time!!  I fold each leaf and stuck it to a glue dot ready to be added to my card.

And in True assembly line fashion I put all the dimensionals on the sentiment labels in advance too!

Unbelievably I did not take a final picture of my finished card!! For shame!!  So this group shot will have to suffice!!  I also used the Gorgeous Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.  Did I say Gorgeous..uh need it in your life!! And the new Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim..another MUST HAVE from this Annual Catalogue!!

In the centre of each flower I put a little pool of Fine Tip Glue....and am so EXCITED to replicate this with the Crystal Effects that is returning in the Holiday catalogue..and it Sparkles!!!

I Hope you Love my card as much as I enjoyed making it!!

Please Hop along and check out all the Gorgeous cards.  No Next Button..just pick a name!!

August Kre8tors Blog Hop Farms

Welcome!  My name is Annette and I am the creator of Stampin' with the Bee's.  I am a Canadian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and I am excited to participate in the Kre8tors Blog Hop!

This month's theme is a colour challenge inspired by the amazing farmers markets we have at this time of year.  I Love all the fresh produce available to us locally!!  So I decided to pull out the Heartland Stamp set again and have a play.  I hope you enjoy it!

Here are the colours we were asked to use:
And here is the Heartland stamp set

We were asked to use at least 3 of the colours...and when I saw the sky I had to create something with the Petal Pink and Highland Heather.  So I pulled out a piece of water colour paper and sprayed water on it then took one of the floral stamps from the To a Wild Rose stamp set, it is the one that has lots of open space and stamped both the Petal Pink and Highland Heather randomly overlapping until I liked what was left.  Then I blotted it and set it aside to dry.

My cardbase is Cherry Cobbler with a piece cut 1/8" less.  I then embossed it with Pine Wood Planks.  I stamped the farm image and the sentiment in Espresso ink, using I to also sponged the edges.  Finishing it with a linen thread bow wrapped twice around.
Here is a closeup of that sky.

Kylie's International Blog Highlights - August 2019

For those who are stopping for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball the crafty hands at Stampin' with the Bees.  I am so excited to be participating in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights!!
I hope you Love and vote for my card today!
Click on the button at the bottom!!

I am using the Daisy lane Bundle. Today is all about Pineapple Punch!! It is my favourite yellow!!  I used the medium daisy punch from the bundle as well as the large punch.  Each daisy was stamped twice with Pineapple Punch on Whisper White Cardstock.  When I punched the daisy I also punched out daisies in vellum, 2 each for each flower.

If you take a closer look you can see that the first daisy from cardstock is on the bottom.  Then the 2 vellum daisies are next and staggered.  Then the final cardstock daisy was placed on top finishing with a perennial essence flower center.

The leaves are stamped in pear pizzazz with the Perennial Essence Stamp set.  What I like to do is stamp off once and then using a sponge dauber sponge the edges before stamping on Whisper White Cardstock.  Then and before I forget the background has been run thru the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder twice in both directions..which is a new trick that I absolutely LOVE!!  Then I sponged around the edges of the background and the sentiment piece.  I also stamped the little flower after stamping off on the sentiment rectangle and used a sentiment from Butterfly Gala.  Finishing with the Pineapple Punch ribbon.

All of the products used are available on my Online on the Canadian flag to your right!

Please take the time to vote for all your favourites!! which hopefully includes my card!!

Ink & Share Scrapbooking Blog Hop - Creative License

Thanks So Much for stopping by!

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

I am so thrilled to be a part of the Ink & Share Scrapbooking  Blog Hop!  Honestly it's been a while since I Mum was an avid scrapbooker and she passed away a few years ago and along with her my desire to scrapbook.  I have gotten back into cardmaking for about a year now and I am ready to get back into scrapbooking!!

Today I am featuring the

Daisy Lane Bundle & the
Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper

This cute little scrapbook is made with 5 of the 3" x 3" envelopes.  I cased it from Marijke vanLaarhoven.  I did not put pictures in it, but I put little pull squares in the envelopes for my daughter to add pictures as it will be a gift for her.  The squares of cardstock are 2.75" x 2.75" and I added a tab using the scalloped tag topper punch and just glued it past the slot so it didn't stick out too far and prevent it from closing.

Ink and Cardstock Colours used were Blushing Bride, Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz

I really hope you enjoyed my project and will hop along to the next Blog and check out all the projects!!

Stampers Showcase Blog Hop - "MASCULINE" theme

Thanks so much to Dana Sullivan for inviting me to participate in the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop!!  I was so excited to be asked!!

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

The Theme this month is Masculine Cards
Something that I get asked for often, they are HARD!!!
So I pulled out says masculine to me and with my Dad's birthday coming up in a couple months I will be ahead of the game if I play with this set.

Today I am featuring the Heartland Stamp set as well as Artisan Textures and the subtle embossing folder.

item# 151278

I started by cutting an 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock in hald at 5.5" and scoring it at 4.25.  I could not decide which colour I liked best so I used Night of Navy, Basic Black and Smokey Slate.  That card front is stamped in the same colour with the stamp from the Artisan Textures stamp that looks like tiny bubbles.  I used whisper white ink on the black card.

The first layer is the same colour cardstock cut at 4.25" x 3.25" and I ran it thru the Subtle Embossing Folder.
The Whisper White piece is 4" x 3" and I stamped the barn image in the same colour as the cardstock.
I adhered these 2 pieces together using dimensionals on the back of the Whisper White piece then wrapped a double piece of Whisper White Bakers twine and tied it in a bow.  I used a scrap strip of Whisper White for the sentiment 1/2" x 2.5", flagged the end and sponges the edges in the coloured cardstock colour.

I'm curious which colour is your favourite!!
I Hope you enjoy my Man card and continue thru the hop by clicking the next button to check out all the other wonderful cards.  Man cards can be difficult so I am happy to have all this inspiration.
