Stamper's Showcase - Winter Wonderland

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

The Theme this month is Winter Wonderland and I could think of nothing better than to Showcase the Still Scene's Bundle.

I know that Winter Wonderland probably brings about thoughts of white and blues but I wanted to go another way.  So I pulled out the Very Vanilla Cardstock and my Gold Embossing Powder and made a very cool card!!  At least I hope you think so!!  I put a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock 41/8" x 5 7/8" thru the wood plank embossing folder. Then I rubbed my Versamark pad around the edges and dipped it in the Gold Embossing powder rubbing off any hard lines or edges.  It looks much better in real life I promise!
I pulled out the First Frost Designer Series Paper and chose one that I had not used a lot of, but the colour of this piece goes well with my idea.  It is cut at 3" x 4 1/4" and is matted with a piece of Basic black that is 1/8" larger then the Designer Series Paper.
I then stamped the snow globe base in Versamark and dipped in gold embossing folder.  Then die cut it with 2 sets of trees.  For the trees I laid them on the Versamark Pad, pressed down gently then dipped in embossing folder then once again rubbed with my fingers to remove some of the powder to allow the Very Vanilla to show thru.  I cut the trees off one of the bases and arranged them.  The three trees in the front have dimensionals behind them.  I die cut the deer from Basic Black and glued him to the trees then putting dimensionals on the base attached it as shown.

I really hope you enjoyed my card today.  All the Stampin' Up! products used are available at my online store.  Clicking on the Canadian flag to your right will take you there.  You must live in Canada to shop with me.  Please continue to the next blog and enjoy the hop, there are many wonderful projects to help you with your Holiday crafting!

Joy of Sets - One Stamp 3 Ways!

.
Thanks so Much for stopping by!

For those who are stopping for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball welcome to
Stampin' with the Bees.

Today I am participating in a Blog Hop
and the Theme is to use one stamp 3 ways.  I Love to get as much use out of a stamp set as I can!!

I decided to take a break from Christmas and choose a Stamp Set that is not a part of a bundle and decided on Beautiful Day.
Here are my cards:

First I Stamped the Butterfly image in Black and simply added colour with a Sponge Dauber.  I used Grapefruit Grove.

On this card I pulled out my Blends and coloured the butterfly using both light and dark to add depth.  I used Blackberry Bliss, Real Red, Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo, and Balmy Blue. Then using glue dots just on the body I adhered it to a Balmy Blue Card base that I embossed using the country floral folder.  I bent the wings up a little to add dimension.

Lastly I simply Stamped the Butterfly randomly around the card in Black.  Can't go wrong with a classic Black and White Card.  What you can't see is that I actually used my wink of Stella and painted the wings to give them shimmer.  It looks Beautiful in real life.  Give it a try, Wink of Stella is a must have!

So there it is, one stamp set used 3 ways, you can also do this with the flower image and pretty much any stamp set!

All the products used are available on my online store, click on the Canadian Flag to your right as I can only sell to Canadians.  The products are listed at the bottom.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.  You can leave a comment below.

Stamp 'n Hop - CASE my own card

Thanks so Much for stopping by!

For those who are stopping for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball welcome to
Stampin' with the Bees.

Today I am participating in a Blog Hop and the Theme is to Case my own card.  So I went back to my very first Stamp 'n Hop Blog Post and this was my card.

I remember being obsessed with the To a Wild Rose Bundle and I had to make myself put it away so I could move on to other things..so It's Fun to be able to pull it out again!! It is truly a Favourite and I am so Happy we will have it for 2 whole years since it is a million dollar achievers set!! Can you believe there are quite a few demonstrator's who have sold $1,000,000,000 worth of stamps, paper and ink!! What an achievement!!

So onto my new card!

Looking back I think this card is kinda busy.  So Using the same stamp set I embossed 2 flowers with White Embossing powder and added the Seaside Spray colour with a Sponge dauber.  The background is one of the 3 step flower stamps with lots of white space.  I added silver glimmer floral die cuts and a couple Pear Pizzazz Leaf die cuts.

I Hope you Like my Card
Please click on the arrow below and keep hopping to see all the wonderful cards!!

Our weather has changed a bit lately and Fall is definitely in the air as we head into our Thanksgiving Weekend her in Canada.  So I pulled out some water colour paper and got at it!
First I soaked the water colour paper with water, then stamped large leaves with Crushed Curry and small leaves with Cherry Cobbler.  The Stamp set is an oldie but a goodie from the Annual Catalogue called Colourful Seasons item#143726
I added the leaf outline in both gold embossing and cajun craze.
Then to add the speckling I used a stamp from the Artisan Textures item# 151278 with Crumb Cake.

Card Measurements:
Watercolour Paper 3.75" x 5"
Cherry Cobbler 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Very Vanilla Cardbase 5.5" x 8.5"

This picture includes a shot of the inside...as Kylie would say...no naked insides!!! I completely agree!!
