Day 5 - A Card a Day in February

Thanks so Much for stopping by!

For those who are here for the first time, my name is Annette Ball, I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada.

Welcome to Stampin' with the Bees.

February is my Birthday month and I am celebrating by posting a card every day!

Today I chose the Saleabration Freebie ( with a $60 purchase) Approaching Perfection.  It has some fun sentiments and graphics.  I really love those cute little candles.  I found this pretty card and unfortunately it has not watermark for me to give credit.  It totally inspired my layout.

For me this card made me think of the stitched with whimsy dies.

So I chose vellum and Basic White to emboss with the dies and then cut out around the fun shapes they create.  I stamped the candles on the white squares in poppy parade and also added some light colour right over top with my blending brush.  I also dabbed my wink of stella on the candle flames for a little sparkle.  It is hard to see in a photo. Trust me it is pretty!
I pulled the sentiment from the ice cream corner suite because I needed something a little more flowy.  I added a white twine bow and some frosted epoxy dots

For this card I embossed Basic White, Pretty Peacock and Just Jade, once again cutting them out with scissors. The Decorative Paper for both cards is from the Artistry Blooms Suite as as the sequins I added to this card.  The images were stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and the stars were from the You are Amazing Stamp set.  I wrapped twine around the 4 x 5.25" DSP twice then added a smaller piece to crate this double bow.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today and I have inspired you to stamp and create.
