Saleabration - West Coast Creators Hop

Hello friends!!
Today I am hopping with the West Coast Creators and our theme is Saleabration!!
I decided to combine 2 of the Free with a $60 purchase that I haven't used yet for todays card!
I added the Hues of Happiness dsp and
made a bright bold version and a soft and subtle version.
Once all the flowers are fussy cut these become pretty quick and easy cards!!

I used the silver and gold 6 x 6" Designer Series Paper and the Pool Party and Soft Seafoam cards and envelopes (which sadly has sold out as of yesterday).  The dsp is cut to 3" x 4.25" and centered on the cardbase.  I wrapped the silver or gold  cord twice around the dsp from Elegant trim pack and tied a bow.  This piece was added with dimensionals.  Then I got to arranging my flowers and I actually left off the sentiment and will keep these cards as one of those last minute cards you can quickly stamp a sentiment for as it could be used for sympathy, birthday and more!!

I hope you enjoyed my card and will keep hopping to see what the rest of the team has made too!

Keep Stampin'

Colour Challenge - Stamping Inkspiration Hop

Hello Friends!! I am Hopping with my Stamping Inkspirations Friends.  Here are the details.

Christmas in July!  TWO color palettes to choose from depending on your preference of the holiday... cold weather or warm weather.

Cold weather:  Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso

Warm weather:  Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Petal Pink

Which one would you choose?

Q

So I decided to do both.  I pulled out Joyful Flurries thinking snowflakes in various colours would be a quick and easy card!! These cards are more simple than I would usually make  but you can expand on this conceit and go as plain or fancy as you like!!

I took an 8.5 x 11 sheet of Basic White cardstock and stamped down the middle and across the middle knowing I was going to cut the sheet in 4 to make 4 cards.

There was a bit of waste as I cut each piece into 4 1/8 x 5 3/8”  then I put them on Sahara Sand and Coastal Cabana cardbases.  Added Soft Succulent and Pool Party ribbon and a few Basic Rhinestones

I hope you enjoy this technique and give it a try!!

Please keep hopping along and see what the others have done with this challenge!!

Global Design Project #344-Case the Designer

Hello friends!!!

Every Monday the Global Design Project posts a new challenge. I always think. Ooh I wanna try that and the week gets away from me am they are announcing the winners and the next challenge. This week I got right at it and made a couple cards during my Facebook live on Tuesday. I Love them both so asked my followers to pick one…. And it was such a close race I asked a Bestie to choose for me LOL!!

So here goes!! Eek!!

I give you Abigail Rose!!

I fussy cut the Gorgeous dsp!! It’s not hard to do when you buy 2 packs off the start so that you can keep one untouched tee hee!!  I used my blending brushes to add some Petal Pink to the flowers and some Pear Pizzazz to the leaves  and it’s difficult to capture with a photo..but there is Wink of Stella on the flower centres, the sprigs and the smaller flowers  which reminds me…add a new pen to my next order!!  Along with a set of new plates for the Stamp Cut and Emboss machine.  Yeah they are back in stock!!!

My first layer is Very Vanilla 4 x 5 1/4” with some Crumb Cake blended around where the flowers will be to deepen the shadow.  I attached the flowers with dimensionals to create even more depth.

The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso and I had to add a little linen thread to my card!!  I finished the first layer with the black adhesive dots.

The second layer is 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” Petal Pink and the Cardbase is Very Vanilla.  I also stamped another flower on the inside!!

I hope you like my card and I can’t wait to see how it does!!

Everything I used can be found in my online store just click on the Canadian flag!!

Sketch Challenge - Stamping Inkspirations

Hello friends!!

Today I am hopping with my Stamping Inkspiration’s buddies and it’s another sketch challenge!!  Ha! You know it’s my favourite!!!  2 Hops in one day!!

I used the Perfectly Penciled dsp
I used my watercolour pencils and a water brush with the least amount of water to move the colour around.  I used the Bough Punch to cut out black and Daffodil bits to tuck around my sentiment. A little bit of line thread.

I hope you like it!! Please keep hopping to see what everyone else has made!!

New Incolors with the West Coast Creators Team

Hello Friends!! Today I am hopping with the West Coast Creators team. It is All About the New Incolors Stampin’ Up! introduced on May 3.

I chose to Highlight the new Tea Bundle and made a split front card using all 5 colours.

I used the Tea dsp and cut a 1/4” strip to die cut the scallop using the hand penned dies.
Then I cut a 1/2” strip to place in the “split front”
The basic white was cut 2 1/2” x 5 3/8”, embossed with the Pretty Flowers folder, I cut one inch from the right side, put it all on dimensionals  and placed both pieces on the card.
The circle is from the new incolor glimmer paper. Which I also die cut the little hearts using the tea dies.
The teacups were cut from basic white, then I brushed some colour on then placed the die cut incolor over top. The cups are popped up as is the tag. And I used the fun new bakers twine to complete the look!!

I hope you like my cards today. Please go check out what the rest of the team made with the new colours!!
