Something New - Joy of Sets

Welcome to my Blog!! My name is Annette, I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada and I am thrilled to be joining this hop today!!  I am completely in Love with To a Wild Rose!! I cannot seem to leave it to stamp other things LOL!!

Here is a look at the bundle.

My card is on a Highland Heather cardbase that I embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and then Shimmer mised with Frost Shimmer Paint.  I die cut the border from gold foil paper.  The flower is stamped with the top left flower after stamping off once in Highland Heather.  Then stamped again with the middle flower and I stamped off twice with Gorgeous Grape.  The final outline is stamped in full strength Gorgeous Grape.

The Sentiment piece is first stamped with the middle flower after stamping off twice in Gorgeous Grape then the sentiment is in full Gorgeous Grape. The leaves are Call me Clover some are first generation and second.

Thanks for joining me!  Please check out the other Stampers in the Hop, there are lots of Amazing cards!

Beautiful Friend meets Global Design Project 193 Colour Challenge

Whew it's been a While since I have participated in the GDP Challenge....But these colours are some of my faves and it gave me a chance to play with a new stamp set called Beautiful is a Distinktive set so right away I had to have it.  It is a bit watercolour like and I have lots of other colour combinations in my head to try out.  Oh and did I mention the font?  Love!! Here is the card.

This set does not have any dies so I borrowed a few from To a Wild Rose and it is difficult to see, but the strip of Granny Apple Green is embossed using the Subtle embossing folder

I even stamped the naked insides!!

I hope you like my card!

Here is a look at the stamp set.

Kylie 's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop June 2019

Thanks So Much for stopping by!

For those who are stopping for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

Welcome to our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop!  I am so thrilled to be a part of Kylie's Demonstrator Training Group.  I have learned so much!  And Always look forward to this Hop!! I am Excited to share my card with you today.

I am sharing a brand new bundle from the
Brand New Annual Catalogue!!
I am completely in Love with To a Wild Rose.

This Bundle has lots of Great dies to go with the Amazing stamp set and the font on these sentiments are so yummy!!
So this is a 3 step stamp for the leaves and the flowers.  I used Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape to get these beautiful flowers!! Top right image was stamped first with Highland Heather.  The middle image was stamped second with Gorgeous Grape but first I stamped off to get a lighter shade.  Then the outline was stamped with the first stamp of Gorgeous grape.

If you look closely the background is a 4 1/8" x 5 7/8" piece of Gorgeous Grape and I stamped it with the centre stamp as marked in the picture below.

I took the easy way out with the leaves by using the Perennial Essence Green Vellum and the leaf punch.  I like to fold each leaf in half to add dimension.  I also cut out the rectangular shaped floral strip from silver foil paper.  And lastly I stamped leaves on the sentiment by first stamping off with Granny Apple Green.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!! Please hop along to the next name on the list and check out all the other gorgeous cards in the Hop!!
 Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp 'N Hop - Hello New Annual Catalogue

If you are here you just arrived from Tracy Marie Lewis.
Such a Great card.
Welcome! My name is Annette Ball, I am in Canada and I am so Excited to Participate in this Blog Hop!!Vicky Wright is one of my besties who participates in the customer tutorials.

I am so EXCITED to share a brand new Bundle from the
2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue

When I got my first glimpse of the catalogue this set stood out right away! Gorgeous Flowers, dies and a beautiful shape for the sentiments and the font...LOVE!!!

The card is half a sheet of 8.5 x 11" Blueberry Bushel cardstock cut at 4.25" and scored at 5.5"
I used the line floral stamp and stamped in Blueberry Bushel for some detail on the background.
The flowers are stamped with Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue using both of the more solid image using 2 step stamping. I stamped the more solid image first in Balmy Blue and the less solid in Blueberry Bushel.
Then I stamped the floral line stamp in versamark and embossed the flowers with silver. Then cut them out using the co-ordinating dies.  I cut out the awesome shape with the dies, stamped the sentiment and added the floral line stamp stamping off once first so it would be lighter than the sentiment.  The flower tucked behind the sentiment is actually cut in half, and I tucked  one in on top and the other on the bottom.  The other 2 are attached using dimensionals.  The inside of the card has a 4 x 5.25" piece of whisper white and I stamped the same floral line stamp on the bottom right corner.

Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop May 2019

Welcome to our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop!  I am so thrilled that you stopped by.  We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world participating in Kylie's Demonstrator Training program.  Everyone is working towards improving their businesses.  It's been a lot of work, but I am enjoying every minute, learning lots of new things and meeting lots of new online friends!

I am once again hopping with my new friends, Thanks to Kylie for this opportunity every month!!  Please click on Subscribe in the top corner and you will get an email every time I post here on my blog!

The Everything is Rosy Product medley was made available for the month of May and I have had so much fun playing with all the products!! Truthfully I spent the $109 just to get that rose gold shimmer paint!!  Here is a look at everything included in that kit.
For any customer who purchases this kit I am having a class on May 18 from 1-4pm and we are going to make a bunch of cards!  In addition I am going to send a tutorial of all the ways you can use that shimmer paint!!

So I have been designing cards like crazy for the class and to post!  Here is my latest creation.

The designer series paper in this kit is Amazing!! so to showcase it I made a card where when you open it you can see the reverse side of the dsp! Here is a picture.

My cardbase is 5.5 x 5.25 scored at 1"
I stamped flowers on that 1" scored strip.

The dsp is cut at 4.25 x 5.5" and adhered to the back of that 1" score strip.
I used a strip of the rose gold foil then put my sentiment on top.
I stamped and used the dies to cut out several flowers creating layers with the various sizes as well a a few leaves.  Stamping on vellum needs lots of time to dry so I usually do it before bed and let it dry overnight, then cut them all out the next day.
I assembled the flowers with glue dots and dimensionals to attach to the card.
Then tucked a few leaves in around the flowers with glue dots.

Thanks so Much for joining me today.
Please make sure you go and check out all the other beautiful cards!!
