Healing Hugs

Welcome to Kylie’s DemonstratorTraining Blog Hop. I continue to feel privileged to be here and I am learning so much please check in on the other blogs. You won’t regret the amazing talent of all these demonstrators.

Healing Hugs

I Love this Stamp set. That Flower stamps Beautifully with very little effort!!  The sentiments are written in gorgeous fonts but you can use any sentiment as I have on my card.

So as I started to create this card I gravitated to the darker colours. Starting with if you can believe it Black. I also played with Navy and Cherry Cobbler. Finally settling on BlackBerry Bliss. I chose Very Vanilla cadstock and stamped a few flowers. I can’t make a floral card without building lots of dimension. Cutting out a few flowers and adding them with dimensionals curling the edges to add dimension. The leaves were stamped in tranquil tide. Then I lightly stamped them with versamark and embossed them in gold rubbing away some of the powder to let more of the green shows thru.
Curling the edges and tucking them in around the flowers. I thought the card needed some ribbon and I love to layer our Very Vanilla Lace Trim with the Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon.

I chose the Pretty Label Punch for my sentiment. And decided it looked a little bare and stamped a rose over the sentiment after stamping off one first.

I Hope you like my card. For me it is a Wow card. I just Lve how it turned out!!

Global Design Project#175

Global Design Project this week is a theme
“Down the Garden Path”
Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper

This paper is hands down my most favourite Sale-a-Bration Freebie. With a $60 purchase in Canada

The Garden to me is colourful and if you are lucky has butterflies. I Hope you like my card.

I have used Balmy Blue for my cardbase and I chose the paper with the biggest butterflies. I chose to add a pice of vellum to soften the large pattern. Then using pineapple punch, a piece of whisper white and some black twine I created a focal point. Using dimensionals to the stamped piece. I used the butterfly gala stamp set. But you can easily use the Beauty abounds or any stamp set with flowers.

Dear Doily - Global Design Project 173 Colour Challenge

Dear Doily

Confession Time!!
I am not a fan of the subtle colour family and I do not own the inks So Saffron, Petal Pink and Soft Seafoam.
I know you are thinking how are you going to participate in this weeks challenge!!
Well it just so happens that I do have the cardstock.....and while I could use versamark to stamp on the cardstock and it would look very cool, I chose to go another way.
The Dear Doily Stamp set in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue called to me right away...die cutting doilies in any colour I desire??
Yes Please!!!
So this bundle, in particular the dies were perfect for this challenge!!
Here is my card

My card base is a piece of  8.5" x 11" Whisper White cardstock cut at 4.25 and scored at 5.5".
The first layer is another piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4" x 5.25" then embossed with the Tufted Embossing folder.
Then I die cut a few of the doilies in So Saffron and Petal Pink to mimic flowers.  And punched a few leaves with the Leaf punch out of Soft Seafoam.  To add dimension I folded each leaf slightly to add a vein where it would naturally occur using my take your pick tool...I just LOVE that tool!!

I Hope you Love my card!!  And if you Love this stamp set and dies mark your calendar because I am having a class on March 23 to showcase all the Beautiful things you can make with this set.

Thanks So Much for visiting my Blog today!!

Birthday Cards....Piece of Cake

Global Design Challenge 172 Case the Designer
Case; Copy And Selectively Edit
Here is the card to CASE
I REALLY wanted to use the Piece of Cake Bundle.
A Stamp set and a punch is my
FAVOURITE!!!
Combined with Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Vellum,
Stamp n' Blends, Shimmer Paint, a little water colouring and the subtle embossing folder all my Faves are in one place!!!
This card it unbelievably Easy to make!
February is my Birthday month and we will be making Birthday cards ALL MONTH LONG!!!  Sign up for a Class on my Facebook Page!!

The background was made by putting several Birthday sentiments from the Piece of Cake Bundle on a block,

then sponging some of that colour to soften the white
The balloons are from the Blow out the Candles Bundle, I cut them from Coastal Cabana, Pool Party,  Gorgeous Grape and Vellum
the circle cut with the layering circles is water colour paper that I mixed Highland Heather and Coastal Cabana then sprayed with shimmer mist
I coloured the cake with Pool Party Stamp n' Blends
and the cake tray is Silver Shimmer Paper
I tied a bow around the Whisper White with the Gorgeous Grape striped ribbon and popped up the entire focal point, balloons and all.  Snailed that to a piece of Coastal Cabana that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Subtle Embossing Folder

And of course I completed the inside with a sentiment from Birthday Cheer and a couple extra balloons.  I am pretty sure I used every new Birthday Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalogue!!!

Paper Pumpkin - It's no secret that I Love it!!

What is Paper Pumpkin?

Paper Pumpkin is an All Inclusive Card kit.  It includes everything you need to make a project or cards.  It Always comes with an ink spot, a stamp set and adhesive...all you really need is adhesive because your first kit always includes a block.  And my favourite part is that it is a surprise!!  We never know what is in the kit until we get it...with a few hints that peak our curiosity.

April 2018 was my first kit, it was a project and cards.  It came with 24, 3" x 3" cards and 4 little boxes to make them into a gift.  The stamp set was too cute with the anchor and lighthouse and a bunch of sentiments.  They are perfect for cruise tips and Thank yous as well as any nautical fan and I will have this stamp set to  make them over and over again

Every month my subscribers get together and we assemble our kits together.  I call in a Paper Pumpkin Club.  I provide my Club members with Alternatives and we have a great time every month.  I always create at least one card to showcase the stamp set and how it can be used long after the paper supplies have been used up.

January's kit is available for purchase until Jan. 10 (tomorrow)
We know that it is 24 treat packages for valentines day and we know that it co-ordinates with the Animal Expedition Suite in the Annual Catalog.  I have Loved that suite since I first opened the catalogue and I look forward to this months Alternatives!!  My daughter is too cool to hand out valentines at school so I will have fun assembling with my Club members and building a few alternatives from my kit!!

Hello Friends!!

Another Goal for 2019 was to participate in Challenges and Blog Hops!!  This is going to be an Epic Week of Goal Crushing!!

I have secretly made a card for a few of the Global Design Projects  admiring many of the Designers and cards posted weekly.
Well this is my week to participate!!!

The Challenge is a sketch this week.  Which is my favourite!
Click on the link below to see all the amazing cards made.

I am so Excited to share my Card!!

I used 2 kinds of designer series paper, a pop of Gorgeous Grape  and the yummy new reversible ribbon to make the focal point, compliments the dsp nicely.  Using the ribbon instead of the intended strip of paper and decided on one sentiment down the right side.  I am a huge fan of Banners and this one has been shaped with a bone folder and popped up with 2 dimensional's to add some interest.  And as you will always see me do, the inside is finished as well with a piece of that awesome designer series paper.
