Well with the Brand New Mini Catalogue that was easy...or was it!!  I have another Painted Poppy Card for you today!!
I just cannot get enough of this gorgeous bundle!!

Today I embossed the flowers using Versamark, Black Embossing Powder and my heat gun.
Then I water coloured the flowers with Flirty Flamingo and the balance of the card Granny Apple Green.  Then I stamped  the stems using the smaller stem with the
Timeless Tulips stamp set and the leaves from painted poppies then using my Aqua painter I washed the colour around to fill in the leaves.

The sentiment is from Peaceful Moments..I just Love these fonts!! And I cut it out using the smaller label from Painted Poppies layering it with one of the floral dies from Peaceful Moments and a little silver thread and some dimensionals

And I glued an extra poppy on the inside.  I can't have a naked inside!!

I really hope you enjoyed my card today!

Stamper's Showcase - Time to Celebrate

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

The Theme this month is Celebrate and I thought it was the perfect time to pull out a new Saleabration stamp set!!

I decided not to put a sentiment on this card.  Then it can be used to Celebrate a birthday, wedding even an anniversary.  This stamp set is called Happy Birthday to You and is Free with a $60 order.  It is such a pretty set I wanted it right away!!

I coloured the flowers with Petal Pink Blends.  the leaves are Mint Macaron and the base is Balmy Blue.
The Petal Pink Layer has been embossed with a new gorgeous embossing folder and I sprayed it with champagne shimmer paint and I so wish it photographed better.  You will have to trust me that it is very sparkly!  The rhinestones are new too!  The second I saw them I had to have them and you will too!! They are champagne coloured which is a soft pink that matches Petal Pink beautifully!!

I am so Excited for Saleabration and the classes I have planned for the next few months not to mention my Kick-off Event on Jan 24 & 25!  You of course are ALL Invited!!

All these products will be available for sale on Jan 3! If you live in Canada I would Love the opportunity to earn your business!  My Online Shop is always open!! Click on the Canada Flag.

Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper

When you first get an eyeball of the new Jan - June 2020 Mini Catalogue you will instantly say Poppies!!  They are right on he cover and they are Gorgeous!! And starting on Page 24 you will see some of the most Gorgeous products Stampin' Up! has created!! So I took a page from Kylie Bertucci's handbook and I Loved and Chopped this gorgeous dsp and then started to create!!

First cutting this 12" x 12" paper in 4" strips being careful to watch which way the design was going.  Then cut the strips at 5 1/4".  This picture is of from one sheet of each design except the sheet that has the most white space as I have already chopped it and used it for some cards that I already gave away if you can imagine!!

I cut the paper at 4" fully intending to matt them with Basic Black which I cut at 4 1/8" x 5 7/8.

I then mounted them on Whisper White cardstock and I wish I had taken a picture of the inside because every one has a poppy stamped inside!!  I stamped this poppy image on some Whisper White Cardstock then coloured the poppies with Real Red and Rich Razzleberry Blends flagging the end of the cardstock as seen.
Then I heat embossed with white on black the Thank you from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.  Adhering it with dimensionals!

All these products will be available Jan 3 and I have classes planned for January that include these gorgeous products!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Stamping!!

Stamp 'n Hop - Anything but a Card

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

All I can say is Wow!! Have I ever neglected my blog!! I guess that will have to be a New Years Goal!!   Today the Lovely Vicky Wright has invited me to make anything but a card!!  Below is a project I created for a class that no-one signed up for...I Know right?? Well it is a busy time of year so all is forgiven!!

The first project starts with a piece of burlap ribbon that I Hot glued 3 square coasters to.  I then cut 3 slightly larger squares in Very Vanilla and ran them thru the plank embossing folder and sponged them and their edges with Crumb Cake.  I used the gorgeous banded dies to create the lacy Real Red frame.  I used the Stars dies and gold glimmer to cut out the scrolly star piece and cut it in half so it could peek out on both corners. and saved the stars to use as sequins all over the entire piece. I layered these die cut pieces first using tombow liquid glue.
I then placed 2 pieces of the same burlap ribbon horizontally and trimmed the edges as shown using Glue Dots.
The Real Red circle is the third largest of the circle dies. And the nested shape out of toile designer series paper is the second of third largest shape.  I then used the gold glimmer and my retired large letters..I hope you kept yours or you can find a substitute!! and die cut the word JOY. The letter was adhered using dimensionals.

I found this adorable wicker heart at the dollar store and instantly thought I could create something cool with that!!
I used our White ribbon that is edged with Silver..it makes a gorgeous bow! The banner is Night of Navy and I heat embossed the silver 'Christmas' from the Merry Christmas to all and cut the Merry from the Merry Christmas dies.

I really hope you enjoyed my projects today.  All the Stampin' Up! products used are available at my online store.  Clicking on the Canadian flag to your right will take you there.  You must live in Canada to shop with me.  Please continue to the next blog and enjoy the hop, there are many wonderful projects to help you with your Holiday crafting!
Merry Christmas!!

Stamper's Showcase - Winter Wonderland

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

The Theme this month is Winter Wonderland and I could think of nothing better than to Showcase the Still Scene's Bundle.

I know that Winter Wonderland probably brings about thoughts of white and blues but I wanted to go another way.  So I pulled out the Very Vanilla Cardstock and my Gold Embossing Powder and made a very cool card!!  At least I hope you think so!!  I put a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock 41/8" x 5 7/8" thru the wood plank embossing folder. Then I rubbed my Versamark pad around the edges and dipped it in the Gold Embossing powder rubbing off any hard lines or edges.  It looks much better in real life I promise!
I pulled out the First Frost Designer Series Paper and chose one that I had not used a lot of, but the colour of this piece goes well with my idea.  It is cut at 3" x 4 1/4" and is matted with a piece of Basic black that is 1/8" larger then the Designer Series Paper.
I then stamped the snow globe base in Versamark and dipped in gold embossing folder.  Then die cut it with 2 sets of trees.  For the trees I laid them on the Versamark Pad, pressed down gently then dipped in embossing folder then once again rubbed with my fingers to remove some of the powder to allow the Very Vanilla to show thru.  I cut the trees off one of the bases and arranged them.  The three trees in the front have dimensionals behind them.  I die cut the deer from Basic Black and glued him to the trees then putting dimensionals on the base attached it as shown.

I really hope you enjoyed my card today.  All the Stampin' Up! products used are available at my online store.  Clicking on the Canadian flag to your right will take you there.  You must live in Canada to shop with me.  Please continue to the next blog and enjoy the hop, there are many wonderful projects to help you with your Holiday crafting!
