GDP300 inspired Watercoloring

Hello Friends!! Welcome to my blog! My name is Annette and I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Ontario, Canada.

I was planning to do some watercolouring on my facebook live after a customer asked a couple questions.  Plus it has been a while since I pulled out the waterbrush and played with water!!

This week on the Global Design Project page it was CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of the designers.  And wouldn't you know it..she watercoloured her background!! Perfect!!

I chose to use the same layout and I Loved how this background turned out so much I didn't want to cover it up too much LOL!!

The Cardbase is Polished Pink 5.5 x 8.5", scored at 4.25
The striped dsp is from Pattern Party which you can purchase with a minimum $200 order and all 48 pieces of 12 x 12" paper is worth it!! i cut a strip 2" x 5.5" and cut it in 2 1" strips and attached to the cardbase leaving 1/8" of the pink on either side.
The center is watercolour paper cut 3.75 x 5.5"
I used Polished Pink for my background and the flowers.  I used my Wink of Stella to colour in the flowers purposefully picking up the pink to add colours to the flower.
The sentiment is from Colour and Contour and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
The ribbon is the Glitter Black Organdy and I finished with the Matt Black adhesive dots.

I will attach the video here (still have to upload)

I Hope you enjoyed my card and it inspires you also to create and maybe even do some watercolouring of your own!!  All products used are available at my online store. Click on the Canadian Flag to access it.

Thanks for Stopping by!  Happy Stampin'
