Mystery Stampin’ with Annette

Last Night I held my first Mystery Stampin' Class.  It was so Much Fun!! I Love the zoom meeting where we can talk and see each other's faces.  I miss my inperson classes and this is absolutely the next best thing!

So everyone cut the following list of 'ingredients' I called them.

Recipe:
4.25” x 5 .5” Cardbase
2.75” x 4” Watercolour Paper
2.75” x 4” dsp (designer series paper)
2” x 3.25” Whisper White Cardstock
1” or less strip of Whisper White Cardstock for Sentiment
Embellishments; Sequins, Rhinestones, Pearls
Stamp Set with Images and Sen
timents

And gathered the necessary Tools:
Blocks
Aqua Painter/Paintbrush
Paper Towel
Coordinating ink
Markers if you are planning to colour in your stamped image
Scissors
Stampin’ Dimensionals
Adhesive of your choice
Heat Gun

Then following a list of clues they built their cards. Below are my samples. I wanted to show them the various ways they can use this card layout for future cards! The first card is the original layout. Followed by a peek of the inside.

This version simply turns the 'focal' piece horizontally to accomodate a larger stamp.

Next I changed the focal piece by punching out a circle.

And finally I changed my focal piece by die cutting a scalloped rectangle and by die cutting my stamped image and adhering with dimensionals.
And my embellishments are the banners I strung across the watercolour piece.

This layout has so many possibilities!!

The final task was to show our cards and then take a picture and add it to the Facebook Post on my page for us to see.

The stamp sets used were Bird Ballad, Painted Poppies and Bonanza Buddies.  Bonanza Buddies will be retiring on June 3 and the bundle prices (10%off) are going too!  Check out my Online store if you need any of these products in your craft room!  The Canadian Flag on your right will take you there!

Happy Stamping!!
