Welcome back to my blog!! Thanks for coming back. I know my posts are pretty erratic..but life has been pretty busy. This month we have a sketch to follow. Y'all know that sketches are my Favourite!!
This year we are caseing each other each month. This month we are caseing Chris Smith.
Excited to say that I got to meet Chris at Onstage in March!
So Chris gave us a few card sample's of a sketch she uses regularly. Please take a look.
I am currently obsessed with the Floral Charm suite.
Here is my first ‘version’
It pretty much follows the same layout.
Now I always like to flip a sketch on its side…
Sideways cards are my favourite!!
Here is #2
This sketch reminded me of a fun fold that I Love!!
So the next 2 are versions of that!!
The standard card base of 5.5 x 8.5”, scored at 4.25” was chopped so the front is 3.25”
And the embossed piece or the dsp are 3 1/8 x 5 3/8”
I really hope you enjoyed the cards I made from the amazing Chris Smith inspiration!!
Please keep hopping to see what everyone else has made!!
I’m looking forward to it!!
Happy Stampin’
Wow, you have been a busy bee Annette! ;-) Love all your cards, but my fave is the sideways one with the green leaves! :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteThankyou my friend!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful collection, Annette! I love your interpretations and am going to be working with those colors you chose very soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful set of cards!! Very pretty colors too.
ReplyDeletePS I'm the anonymous poster above! :)
ReplyDeleteOh Annette! What a tremendous amount of work!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how the Charme Floral collection, which I didn't like that much, seems to take on a whole new dimension with your projects. And I love the embossing folder, which adds depth to the whole thing! I often prefer portrait cards, so if I had to choose one, I would say... the second to last one. I love the light it catches, sitting outside like that! Well done for all your hard work! xx
