AWOW - 3D Projects

Thanks so Much for stopping by!

For those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball, I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada.  Welcome to
Stampin' with the Bees.

Thanks so much to Angie McKenzie for inviting me to participate in the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop!!  I was so excited to be asked!!

Today's Theme is a 3D item. I thought about just grabbing one of the acetate boxes Stampin’ Up! Makes and decorating it...but then as I was browsing Pinterest I saw this REALLY neat card and decided that was it!! I am going to attach the video from Pinterest as explaining this card will be difficult.

I used the gorgeous Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.  I know butterflies are everywhere right now...but I could not resist!!  My card base is Coastal Cabana and is your standard 5.5 x 8.5", scored at 4.25.  The designer series paper Butterfly Bijou is 2 x 5 3/8" and tucked behind a piece of Basic White that measures 3 x 5".  I stamped the large butterfly stamp in Coastal Cabana after stamping off twice as I wanted a very soft background.  Then I used my blending brush to add some more Coastal Cabana to soften the look.  Then I ran the piece thru the Stamp, Cut and Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.
I die cut a bunch of the butterflies from Basic White and a bunch of the detailed butterflies from vellum.  Then I used the blending brushes and sponge daubers to add colour to the butterflies then glue the vellum overtop.  The sentiment is white embossing on black cardstock using the Happiest of Birthday's Stamp set.

The inside of the card is the 3D portion of the card..even though I bent out the wings on the butterflies on the front.  I really like to do some stamping on the inside, so this cards screams WOW!!  I used a 4 x 5.25" of Basic White stamping the butterflies on the outer edges so as not to leave them stark white.  The butterflies were created just like the front and are on pieces of acetate. Below is the Pinterest link to see how the card was made.  I simply copied what the hands did in the video.

Here is an Aerial view.

  6. However, be careful while using full-spectrum products. These do contain certain THC levels, even if they are below the federally mandated limit of 0.3%. Since, over time, THC metabolites tend to build up in your body (if you are a heavy user and, also, do not follow a detox schedule), these may still show up on your drug test.5" or 1.3 cm per month, if measured from the crown.
