Joy of Sets - Christmas in July

Thanks so Much for stopping by!

My name is Annette Ball I am an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada.
Welcome to Stampin' with the Bees.

Today I am participating in the Joy of Sets Blog Hop

and the Theme is Christmas in July

Now I gotta tell ya it took me a bit to get into the spirit of today’s theme!!
Here in Ontario it is hot!!
And in the middle of summer Christmas is not top of mind.

So I pulled out an old favourite that made it to the annual and I was thrilled!! I just Love all things snowman!

Snow Much Fun is a Fave from last year and it didn't take long to get inspired!

I have gotten into the habit of doing these hops in three's and once I started with these cute little characters it was easy.  I started with my current go to which should surprise anyone who knows me..Annette is NOT a pink girl..but I Love the vibrant Magenta Madness.
And I cannot get enough of our masks and thought my snowman needed some polka dots.  I |Love the fading that is achieved with sponging on colour thru these masks.  Its hard to see in the picture..but I also sponged some colour where I was going to stamp my sentiment and the snowflakes.  The rhinestones were coloured with blends cause they had to be pink too!

Continuing on with the sponging I used Misty Moonlight to create a circle in the centre of my card..then Magenta Madness around that overlapping to create this vibrant purple.  I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes around the sponging to create a cute background.  I punched ou the snowman and shaded him a bit with my light balmy blue blend, finishing it off with some rhinestones

This is actually the first card that I made, but it's my favourite and I saved it for last.  After I sponged some Misty Moonlight in the centre I went a lot lighter with the Magenta Madness that you can barely see it in this photo.  Then I ran it through the Parisan Embossing folder.  I fussy cut the snowman and filled the sky with sequins!

All three of my cards have been sprayed with Shimmer mist
because in my world snow sparkles!

I really hope you enjoyed my cards today!
