Joy of Sets - Splish Splash Blog Hop

Welcome to Stampin' with the Bees.  

Today I am participating in the Joy of Sets Blog Hop 
and the Theme is called Splish Splash

So I decided that Watercolouring would be the way I want to use this theme.  I Love to watercolour and Stampin' Up has a brand new product in the Brand New Annual catalogue.  They are called Water painters.  They are very different as you have a fine tip, medium tip and a large flat brush.

So I thought I would Case the amazing Mikaela Titheridge and do some Fabulous stripes with the various brushes.

I created my own Rainbow...using Melon Mambo, Garden green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red making a wet stripe with just water, then drawing a line with my Stamp'n Write marker, following that up with more brush action to get the ombre affect making sure each colour does not touch.  The Gorgeous Prized Peony (my Favourite NEW set!) was stamped in Smoky Slate and die cut then raised up with Stampin'n Dimensionals.  I coloured the ribbon with Light Smoky Slate Blends and tied a double bow.  The sequins are the brand new Artisitry Blooms adhesive backed and have an iridescent finish this girl LOVES!!

The die set has this gorgeous scalloped edge piece that cuts and embossed and will never be far from my die cutting machine.  I Love it so much I used it twice!!
