Stamper's Showcase - Winter Wonderland

Welcome, for those who are here for the first time,
my name is Annette Ball I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in Canada

The Theme this month is Winter Wonderland and I could think of nothing better than to Showcase the Still Scene's Bundle.

I know that Winter Wonderland probably brings about thoughts of white and blues but I wanted to go another way.  So I pulled out the Very Vanilla Cardstock and my Gold Embossing Powder and made a very cool card!!  At least I hope you think so!!  I put a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock 41/8" x 5 7/8" thru the wood plank embossing folder. Then I rubbed my Versamark pad around the edges and dipped it in the Gold Embossing powder rubbing off any hard lines or edges.  It looks much better in real life I promise!
I pulled out the First Frost Designer Series Paper and chose one that I had not used a lot of, but the colour of this piece goes well with my idea.  It is cut at 3" x 4 1/4" and is matted with a piece of Basic black that is 1/8" larger then the Designer Series Paper.
I then stamped the snow globe base in Versamark and dipped in gold embossing folder.  Then die cut it with 2 sets of trees.  For the trees I laid them on the Versamark Pad, pressed down gently then dipped in embossing folder then once again rubbed with my fingers to remove some of the powder to allow the Very Vanilla to show thru.  I cut the trees off one of the bases and arranged them.  The three trees in the front have dimensionals behind them.  I die cut the deer from Basic Black and glued him to the trees then putting dimensionals on the base attached it as shown.

I really hope you enjoyed my card today.  All the Stampin' Up! products used are available at my online store.  Clicking on the Canadian flag to your right will take you there.  You must live in Canada to shop with me.  Please continue to the next blog and enjoy the hop, there are many wonderful projects to help you with your Holiday crafting!
